State Department indicts targeted; Chinese administrators of involvement on religious minorities, among others in the crackdown.
United States President Joe Biden’s administration, as well as other ethnic, is imposing travel bans on Chinese officials whom it accuses of repressing Uighur Muslims and religious minorities.
The State Department announced on Monday; to the US that it is securing the officials from traveling because of their involvement in “repressive acts” on freedom of speech and crackdowns and in China religion and abroad country.
The bureau did not identify which administrators would be subject, nor say how many would be affected by the expanded ban.
To Chinese officials, Secretary of State Antony Blinken declared that the sanctions are being applied who “ or complicit in, are believed to be responsible for, policies or actions aimed in a statement and spiritual practitioners, members of ethnic minority groups at repressing religious, dissidents, human rights defenders, journalists, labor organizers, civil society organizers in China and peaceful protestors beyond”.
